42nd District legislators to hold town hall meeting March 12
Sen. Doug Ericksen, R-Whatcom County, Rep. Jason Overstreet, R-Blaine and Rep. Vincent Buys, R-Lynden, will hold a town hall meeting Saturday, March 12 at Lynden Middle School. The 42nd District legislators say they are eager to hear from constituents regarding upcoming legislative action.
“Town hall meetings provide a great opportunity to communicate directly with the people of Whatcom County, update them about what is happening in Olympia, and brainstorm on solutions to create a better Washington,” Ericksen said.

“We are at a critical point in the legislative session and I'm looking forward to hearing what constituents have to say about the decisions facing state lawmakers,” said Overstreet. “Many important votes will be taken in the next month and a half that will affect our communities, and it's a great time for citizens to be involved in the legislative process.”
“This meeting is an excellent opportunity to discuss solutions surrounding our budget and other issues before the Legislature. I look forward to hearing from my constituents and hope they can attend,” Buys said.
