Rep. Vincent Buys says a carbon tax would devastate Washington farmers

Rep. Vincent Buys, R-Lynden, joins Glenn Vaagen on the Washington Ag Network and discusses the impact of a potential carbon tax on Washington's agriculture community, increasing funding for wildfire prevention and a bill by Sen. Jim Honeyford, R-Sunnyside, to have produce inspections run through the state Department of Agriculture instead of the federal Food & Drug Administration. Buys also says he is determined to fix well water rights for Skagit County, which did not see relief from legislation passed earlier this year to lift restrictions imposed by the state Supreme Court's Hirst decision.
